About Us

What is The JoshuaOne Project?

The JoshuaOne Project is a nonprofit Christian ministry devoted to encouraging and training Christian believers to stand strong in the faith.

We are especially devoted to serving:

New believers just beginning the Christian life.

✔  People who want to be Christians, may even consider themselves to be Christians, but have not yet come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Believers who are failing to mature in their faith and produce much fruit.

✔  Believers whose faith is being tested by trials, temptations, difficult times.

Pastors, teachers, and church leaders who are ministering to such people.

Mature Christians who could be part of the solution by ministering to such people.

We are evangelical, meaning that our faith and hope is in the cross of Christ and that we believe God’s Holy Word. We are nondenominational, meaning that we are independent, self-governed and not part of any denomination. However, we welcome fellowship and partnership with all Christ-following, Bible-believing Christians of all churches and denominations. (See our Statement of Faith [LINK])

The JoshuaOne Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to The JoshuaOne Project are tax exempt.

Why Are We Called “JoshuaOne”?

At the end of Israel’s 40 years in the wilderness, following the death of Moses, God anointed Joshua to lead God’s people into the Promised Land.

“This Book  of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it  day and night, so that you may be  careful to  do all  that is written in it.”

As the Israelites prepared to cross the Jordan River, God spoke directly to Joshua. God’s instructions are in recorded in Joshua 1 (“JoshuaOne”). God told Joshua:

“Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you. I will not desert you nor abandon you. … Only be strong and very courageous.

“Be careful to do according to all the Law which Moses My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may achieve success wherever you go.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success.

Joshua 1:5-8

The mission of The JoshuaOne Project is to encourage and train Christian believers to stand strong in the faith. We want to help Christians:

“Be strong,” even when experiencing trials and temptations.

Be “courageous,” even in difficult times.

Be spiritually “prosperous,” achieving the only kind of “success” that truly matters: eternal success.

What does a believer need to be strong and courageous, spiritually prosperous, achieving eternal success? JoshuaOne is laser-focused on encouraging believers to do two things:

➢  To be immersed in God’s Word.

To participate in genuine “one another” fellowship with other believers.

That is what The JoshuaOne Project is all about.

Our Calling Is to “Make Disciples”

The Christian faith is not a hobby. It is not a self-improvement program. It is not a political platform or a list of family values. The Christian faith is not a church.

The Christian faith is a life-changing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • A disciple of Jesus humbles oneself, confessing one’s many sins and shortcomings and asking Jesus for the forgiveness that only God’s Son can give.
  • A disciple of Jesus demonstrates one’s faith and commitment by being baptized into Jesus Christ and dedicating one’s life to following Him.
  • A disciple of Jesus is a dedicated student, eagerly studying the life and teachings of Jesus, as well as the rest of God’s holy and inspired Word.
  • A disciple of Jesus devotes oneself, first and foremost, to serving Christ.
  • A disciple of Jesus enters into an intimate connection with other disciples: encouraging one another, teaching one other, caring for each other, love one another.

Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ? Would you like help living up to your calling to be a disciple? The JoshuaOne Project exists to encourage and train you to stand strong in the faith.
